Require project-by-project reporting of federal money sent to local governments

A petition to your members of Congress, started by Brayden Sanders, founder of County Commons.

At 5,000 signatures it’s printed, with the count by county, and delivered to the offices of your members of Congress — and their answer is posted here.

Why it matters

Counties received $48.5 billion in federal pandemic relief. More than half was reported only as "revenue replacement," so the public can't trace it to what it bought. We ask Congress to require that federal money sent to local governments be reported project by project — what it paid for, who was paid, and what it delivered.
